Jimmy C. Stevenson

The planning of all events is overseen by Jimmy Stevenson, Southern Way’s founder, owner and president.  From directing initial menu development to guiding presentation, Jimmy’s experience and expertise guarantee the most successful event possible. With over 30 years of success in the business, Jimmy's most recent honor is induction into the restaurant Hall of Fame. When not in the office, Jimmy enjoys traveling, playing golf, and relaxing at his property on Lake Murray.

Jesse F. Bullard
Vice President

A graduate of the University of South Carolina, with a degree in Business Management, Jesse focuses on business development and strategic growth of Southern Way, Inc. In addition to managing daily operations at the catering business, he is also an active partner in Doc’s Barbeque Restaurant and Ms. B’s Southern Kitchen. When not working, Jesse is active in many community activities including Famously Hot New Years, CBA, Leadership of Columbia, Friends of Epworth, Columbia Museum of Arts and other local projects.

Jessica Stevenson
Chief Financial Officer

All daily finances are managed by Jessica, from payroll and vendor relationships to handling client billing and receivables. She is also responsible for all human resources and front office operations. With over 13 years experience of event management, Jessica also continues to work with special clients.

James Jones
Executive Chef / Kitchen Manager

“JJ” has been working in the hospitality industry for over 11 years since graduating from Johnson and Wales University in 2001 with a culinary arts degree. He contributes a vast knowledge of the culinary arts as well as kitchen management experience. His daily responsibilities include scheduling, ordering, inventory management, overseeing routine maintenance and cleaning, building prep sheets, recipe development and of course, cooking with his team for catered events.

Cameron Wilson
Catering Director

Cameron oversees the logistics planning, timing and presentation of every catered event, both on and off premise. She is also responsible for over 100 part-time staff. Cameron plays a vital role in ensuring perfection at every event.

Kristy Polk
On Site Sales Manager

Kristy’s 18 years of customer service experience makes her the perfect contact and coordinator for Adams Pond and Leaside rentals and associated catering functions. Kristy will help you select the perfect Southern Way venue for your event and coordinate all details to ensure all goes smoothly and as planned.

Brittany Wingo
Off Site Sales Manager

Growing up in the catering business, Brittany has the highest expectations for every client’s event. Following all the newest trends, she is also responsible for keeping us on the cutting edge of what’s “hot” in the catering business.

Catherine Kirkpatrick
Information Manager

Catherine ensures all event information is coordinated and distributed to appropriate staff so that every detail of your event falls into place. Catherine also handles all Good-to-Go pick-up and delivery orders. She provides support and assistance in coordinating both on- and off-premise events for the entire leadership team.

Delmas Patterson
Inventory & Equipment Manager

In addition to being a shift leader in the kitchen, “Greg” is responsible for the maintenance of Southern Way Equipment. With an engineering background, he is meticulously detailed and ensures all of our assets are in working order, and ready for work.
